As a junior developer at Subtonomy, you will be given a broad position where you’ll be involved in everything from design, architecture, delivery and follow-ups. As a developer at Subtonomy, you will develop smart and user-friendly applications. You will be working with large data volumes and transaction-intensive web applications.

You will work with both front and backend development and also have the opportunity to specialize in areas and programming languages that interest you. The software provided by Subtonomy is a comprehensive solution for data retrieval, storage and presentation. We work with Scala, Apache Spark, MariaDB, Polymer (JavaScript) and PHP. You will be part of an open-minded and a helpful team of developers who enjoys sharing knowledge with each other. Our office is located close to Slussen in Stockholm and has an amazing view over the sea and Djurgården. We are flexible regarding working from the office or from home.
You will enjoy working here if you like to work towards customers in a tight team where we together develop the best solutions possible. Subtonomy is a small company that places great responsibility on the individual and you are an independent person who is self-sufficient and willing to drive your development by keeping your technical skills up to date.
We prefer if you have a Master of Science or equivalent in computer science or electrical engineering, technical physics or similar. You either soon will graduate or have just graduated from the university, knowledge within Java is desirable but not a requirement. Since several of Subtonomy´s customers are English-speaking, it´s a requirement that you are fluent in spoken and written English.
