Your Challenge
As Staff Engineer, you will be part of the Product & Tech leadership team, working closely with Engineering Managers, the Head of Technology and other key stakeholders to shape the technical direction across Product & Tech. You will act as a technical compass across our engineering organization, helping teams make sound technical decisions while staying close enough to the engineering work to understand and solve complex challenges.
You will:
- Own and evolve Lendo´s technical strategy, architecture and engineering standards.
- Set technical direction across multiple agile teams and create alignment around architecture and ways of working.
- Facilitate our Tech Lead forum and drive cross-team technical initiatives.
- Work with Product from an early stage to turn business needs into scalable technical solutions.
- Stay hands-on when needed through coding, prototyping and technical problem-solving.
- Mentor engineers and act as a technical sounding board across backend and frontend.
- Participate in technical skills assessments of engineers, helping ensure a consistent and high technical standard across the organization.
- Support teams in areas such as resilience, security, operational risk and major technical incidents.
- Work closely with our Data/ML team and explore how AI and modern technologies can create business value.

About You
We are looking for a senior engineer with a strong architectural mindset who enjoys solving complex problems and influencing others through technical expertise rather than formal authority.
You have:
- Extensive experience in software engineering, architecture or a similar senior technical role.
- Strong knowledge of modern software architecture and experience working across multiple teams.
- Experience with cloud environments, ideally GCP, and technologies such as Kubernetes and Terraform.
- Experience with or a strong understanding of Golang, TypeScript and/or React.
- The ability to move comfortably between strategic technical discussions and hands-on engineering.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to turn complex technical topics into clear decisions and actions.
- A pragmatic approach to balancing technical quality, business value and speed.
- A genuine interest in AI and modern technology.
Experience from a regulated or high-trust environment and/or working closely with Data/ML teams is a plus.
Most importantly, you are curious, collaborative and pragmatic. You take ownership, challenge existing solutions when needed and enjoy helping both people and technology move forward.
